GLOW is a supportive community for girls to build healthy relationships, plan for their future, and become leaders.
All girls, regardless of their story, deserve support on the road to becoming strong, compassionate and successful women.
When properly supported, all girls have the power to achieve their own vision of success, which leads to positive outcomes for themselves, their families and communities.
Apply to the GLOW Program
Girls participating in the GLOW program will be introduced to an evidence based SEL curriculum, engage in life changing experiences, field trips, conferences, events, workshops, cultural activities and are embraced by a comprehensive system of mentors and community partners that are dedicated to supporting them on their journey to self-discovery and leadership.
GLOW meet-ups take place during the academic school year from September - May and will consist of weekly or bi-weekly curriculum lessons and mentoring sessions combined with activities and experiences that will further develop their learning, social awareness, and desire for greatness.
WHO CAN APPLY:
At the GLOW Program, we believe in providing opportunities for all young women to thrive and succeed. Our program is open to girls from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, or academic standing. We welcome applications from girls who possess a strong desire to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in their communities.
To be eligible to apply for the GLOW Program, girls must meet the following criteria:
1. Age: Girls should be in the specified age range of 13 - 18.
2. Commitment: Girls should be willing to commit to the duration of the program, which typically spans one academic year and meets 1-2 times a week.
3. Motivation: We are looking for girls who are motivated to excel academically, develop leadership skills, and actively participate in extracurricular activities.
